Burrata is two cheeses in one. The exterior is formed by a mozzarella ball stuffed with stracciatella and cream. Stracciatella is made from strings of mozzarella. The taste is lactic and fresh with a lot of cream. It is delicious to eat because the texture is fresh and creamy at the same time. A truly unique cheese.
Drizzle olive oil and salt and pepper and it by itself with crusty bread.
Pinot Grigio or Verdejo white wines are easy pairings.
