Spanish rice blend, next best thing to pure saffron, will color and flavor rice and paella.
For your Spanish rice:
To add color, just throw 1 tablespoon of the blend for 4 servings directly into the rice cooking water.
To add the Spanish Paella taste, after coloring your rice(see above), take a sauce pan, bring to a boil 2 cups of water ( for 4 servings), then add 3 teaspoons of the blend and reduce it ( boil it down) until half is gone. Remove from the heat then add your rice and stir gently. Voila!
